Carel Jordaan CA(SA)
Managing Director
Carel has more than 20 years of audit experience. His career started with a firm in Stellenbosch (BGR Alluvium). After completing his training contract, he joined the Cape Town offices of Mazars and was involved with numerous audit engagements of large multinationals and JSE listed companies.
In 2015, Carel moved to the UK to join Ernst and Young, where he led engagements for large privately owned multinationals and groups listed on the LSE. At the start of 2018 Carel returned to South Africa to lead BVA.
Bronwen Gien CA(SA)
Quality and Professional Standards
Bronwen has more than 15 years of audit and financial services experience. Her career started at Mazars in Cape Town, and after completing her training contract she joined the firm's National Technical team, where she was promoted to National Technical Manager.
In 2014 Bronwen moved into the financial services industry, working in finance and consulting roles with a focus on complex financial models and emerging technologies. In 2022 she returned to public practice at BVA where she leads firmwide quality, technical support and training and remains actively involved in key engagements.
